We took Bruce to church yesterday.

To prepare we read books about how to behave in church.
He did wonderful!!!
He was The Quiet Man and of course everyone loved him.

Especially these ladies.

Carrots

Carrots were introduced yesterday.
Bruce was hesitant.
Evie...not so much.

We've yet to see what the carrots look like on the other end. 

Will keep you posted.

Dance Class

Evie and Bruce start dance class next Wednesday night.
It's a mixture of hip-hop/funk, traditional and ballet.

They're both excited and wearing their tutu's around the house!!!

IT Man

Bruce has decided to pursue his passion. 

Computer software.

Ok, ok.  He's really just checking his facebook page.

Weigh In

Evie just had her 6 month doctor appointment.  

She weighed in at 20 pounds, 6 ounces...almost half the size of Bruce!

Dog Week

It was recently "Dog Week" at Evie's school.   

On Thursday she brought a picture of her and her buddy to show her friends during circle time.  

(Please pay no attention to the little boy who isn't wearing pants).

This is what Miss Megan had to say about it on her weekly blog:

We learned about dogs this week. We painted our dog houses, decorated dog bowls with dobbers and colored noodles, and colored our dog bones with chalk. Evie dressed for the theme on Thursday and even brought in a picture of her dog, Mr. Bruce to share at circle time. The picture was of Evie dressed as wonder woman and Mr. Bruce dressed as superman. It was so adorable- thank you for sharing Evie!

Evie enjoyed her first Easter!
A hyper-active, fluffy, tail-waggin white bunny came and left a basket full of puppets and yumyums.

Bruce has been in biiiiig trouble this week.

We've noticed some sodas missing lately but never gave it much thought.

Needless to say, I think we've figured out why Bruce is a bit hyper.

Dingleberries and such

A Dingleberry is defined as 

a small clot of dung, as clinging to the hindquarters of an animal.

Bruce knows ALL about dingleberries.  
Look at this rear.  

A good portion of our Sunday last week was spent vigorously rubbing Bruce's anal region with baby wipes while he tried to eat the baby wipe out of our hand.  
Then we tried a washcloth dipped in soapy water.  
Some of the dingle was removed, but a berry or two remained.

Solution?

Let the groomer deal with it.

Now this gentleman should be dingleberry free for 6-8 weeks!
