Dear CiCi

Dear Cici,
Please love me more than this new baby.
Please.
I will be a gentleman.
I won't eat your rugs anymore.
Or bark at you.
Or poop in your basement.
Or eat your plants.
Sincerely,
Bruce

Ding Dong

Dave re-taught Bruce to ring the bell when he wants to go outside.

He rings it when no one is downstairs.
He would probably ring it if no one was home.
Does this make him smart...

or incredibly stupid???

Important Lessons

Bruce has been trying to teach Evie some things.

He taught her the importance of a hat to complete a look.

And that bathing makes you smell good.

And most importantly...that being held by Papa will cheer you up when you are sad.

Hooked on Phonics

Bruce is taking his new role as 'Big Brother' very seriously.

The other day I walked in on him reading one of Evie's books.

It's his favorite one.

We're back!

So I know what you're thinking....

DAVE KILLED BRUCE!

Everyone can relax, Mr. Bruce is alive and well.

Being on bed rest made taking pictures of Bruce difficult.  Then bringing home a newborn made taking pictures of Bruce even more difficult.  But we've got a routine down and we're back in business.

So what's Bruce been up to you ask????

Tracking Squirrels!
Gabby chasing squirrels

(Luckily he hasn't caught any yet)

Destroying CiCi's house!

Bruce spent a week there when the baby was born and he was a very bad boy.  He barked, chewed on rugs, stole shoes, etc.  Let's just say that Bruce will probably be put in a kennel the next time he needs to be babysat.

Wearing his new shock collar!
Bruce has been shocked a total of 4 times and he's a changed man.  We say "come" and he RUNS.  We say "no bark" and he's SILENT.  It's really quite brilliant and I highly recommend it.

AND...
Playing with baby Evie!

OK, not really.  There is no baby in that Pack N Play.
At first Bruce was interested.  TOO interested.  Now he's calmed down and doesn't show too much interest (thanks to his new shock collar).  They are soon to be best buds.

Stay tuned for more adventures of Bruce and Evie.
