I'm Hungry!

I can't imagine why Bruce got whipworms.  It's not like he eats random objects.

Athough he does really enjoy eating paper products...

 

And outside nothing is off limits, especially the poison ivy and mulch...

 

Oh and shoes must be delicious, because many of them are missing...

So it really came as no surprise when I heard a loud CRUNCH CRUNCH coming from downstairs. 

Bruce had grabbed my cell phone off the sofa and decided it looked tasty. 

 But nothing a little electrical tape couldn't mend.

Canine Illness

Last Saturday Mr. Bruce woke up with the runs.  After an expensive vet visit about 4 months ago we decided to let this one run its course.  For five days Bruce was very lethargic. 

We started to really like the new Bruce. 

But each night the diarrhea would hit and he was awake about every two hours barking to go out. 

That's when we gave in and took him to the vet. 

Diagnosis: WHIPWORMS

He could have gotten this months ago by ingesting contaminated water or food that had whipworm eggs in it.  Once the eggs hatch in the intestines, you see signs such as diarrhea, lethargy, etc.  Luckily it can't be passed on to humans and he felt better immediately after starting the medicine. 

He's back to his old self now...lucky us :)

Boys Gone Missing

I came home early from work one day and the boys were no where to be found.  Assuming they were taking a walk I went about my business.  Suddenly I heard a noise!  Ever so softly I heard someone singing "Hungry Heart" by Bruce Springsteen.  I slowly climbed the stairs and followed the noise.  You can see Dave's surprise at seeing me home so early.

But then he relaxed and continued the show. 



Dave thinks he'll be a SWELL dad.

Bruce says "WOOF!"

Dale?

Bruce isn't taking to the whole 'baby' idea too well.

He recently climbed into the crib and yelled "I'm Stuck!"

He's demanding that we name the baby Rick or Dale.

Of course he thinks this would be silly.

They are nice names though.  I guess you'll have to wait until October.

The Bruce Mobile

Lock up your daughters and put the girl dogs on a leash.  Bruce got a new ride and he's lookin' to hit the town.

Like My New Rug?

We bought a shag rug for our still-empty dining room, with the intention of this being a play room for the new baby. 

Bruce had other plans.

It's his new favorite place to rest.

Bury his face.   



Chew. 

And play with every toy he owns.



I'm glad Bruce likes this $300 rug we bought for him.
