Embarrassing Moment

Bruce had an embarrassing moment yesterday.

We went for a walk on the bike path and within 2 minutes he got in the position to "make a poopy".  Just as he started pooping, a man and woman walked by us.  He couldn't decide if he should

1) Poop and let them walk by

OR

2) Stop pooping to say hi

So instead he chose to go say hi WHILE continuing to poop.  He waddled over to them still in the poop position, tail wagging.  His duty landed on the bike path right next to the womans foot while she was petting him.  She then said "Eww that's disgusting!" and walked away.

Bruce was humiliated.

My New Best Friend

Bruce made a new best friend. 

Her name is Gabby and she has NO FEAR, perfect for Bruce.  She pet Bruce, played fetch with him, played chase, rode him like a horse, let him lick her all over, and they were both exhausted at the end of the play date.  Bruce hopes to see Gabby again very soon...

Summer is here!

Bruce has been a handful lately and we're excited for summer so he can spend his time outside.  Even if he is barking, eating leaves and chewing on the mulch the entire time he's out there.  We joined a dog park and take him for long walks every night, but he is still FULL of energy.  One particular visitor (who shall remain nameless...) calls Bruce "The Devil" because he's so hyper.  Because of this we feel it is important to continue to remind everyone of his cuteness.  He'll be a well behaved gentleman in no time!
